Rabbi Refael S. Feuerstein is chairman of the Feuerstein Institute (formerly ICELP) in Jerusalem, Israel. He has furthered the work of Professor Reuven Feuerstein by extending the theoretical and practical applications of programs to materialize structural cognitive modifiability, bringing the practical benefits of this theory to an increasingly diverse range of populations and applications. He is also the primary developer of the Instrumental Enrichment—Basic and Learning Propensity Device—basic programs that are applied to young children and severely low-functioning older learners.
