Yoon-Joo Lee

Yoon-Joo Lee, EdD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Childhood, Bilingual, and Special Education in the School of Education at Brooklyn College, City University of New York. She teaches and supervises master’s degree students in the Graduate Program in Early Childhood Special Education. Dr. Lee had several years of experience in teaching infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in different early childhood special education classrooms before joining the faculty at Brooklyn College. Her scholarly interests include social experiences of young children with special needs in early childhood classrooms and the experiences of families of children with special needs from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
