William E. Doll Jr.

William E. Doll, Jr. is an associate professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Louisiana State University. A native Bostonian, he has taught school there, in Denver, and in Baltimore. He received his doctorate from Johns Hopkins University and has taught in and chaired the Elementary Education department at SUNY-Oswego. At the University of Redlands, in California, he was director of Teacher Education.

Dr. Doll has written numerous articles for national and international journals. This is his first book.
