Virginia J. Goatley

Virginia J. Goatley is a faculty member and department chair in the Department of Reading at the University at Albany–SUNY. Her scholarship targets how to bridge literacy research, policy, and practice to improve classroom practice. Her recent federally funded grants focus on the literacy coursework in teacher preparation programs and the implementation of a clinically rich teacher preparation program.
