Sue Nichols is senior lecturer at the School of Education, University of South Australia. She began her teaching career as a secondary English educator and was inspired to work toward more-inclusive education when she took up the role of literacy coordinator in a school for excluded students. For the last 20 years she has worked at the University of South Australia as a teacher educator and researcher, often in collaboration with practitioner colleagues. Sue also authored the book Resourcing Early Learners: New Networks, New Actors (Routledge, 2012).
