Stephanie Wessels

STEPHANIE WESSELS is an assistant professor in the Department of Teaching, Learning, and Teacher Education at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Her teaching experience includes working with ESL students in the classroom as well as serving as a consultant for a state educational agency. Her research focuses on bilingual family literacy programs. She is particularly interested in vocabulary development that enhances and extends current academic practices in primary grade-level classrooms.
