Stephanie Jones is associate professor in the Department of Educational Theory and Practice at the University of Georgia. Stephanie participated in the Ohio Writing Project when she was a classroom teacher and has been codirecting the Red Clay Writing Project since 2008. She is author of many publications exploring critical literacies, social class, gender, childhood, families, and teacher education, including Girls, Social Class, and Literacy: What Teachers Can Do to Make a Difference and The Reading Turn-Around: A Five-Part Framework for Differentiated Instruction.
