Stephanie C. Serriere

Stephanie C. Serriere is an associate professor of elementary social studies at the School of Education, Indiana University Purdue University—Columbus. She serves as an affiliate faculty member in the Department of Curriculum & Instruction at The Pennsylvania State University. Stephanie brings a perspective from her experiences as a former elementary school teacher and instructor of elementary social studies methods, as well as working with schools on civic education practices. Her scholarship and work with schools supports teachers and schools in primary- and elementary-aged civic participation.
