Sarah W. Beck is associate professor of English education at New York University. She has taught English in high schools in Boston and Ohio, and college-level writing at universities in Missouri and New York. These experiences inform her current work with high school teachers of English and literacy in all disciplines. Sarah aims to conduct research that directly contributes to students’ literacy development while also cultivating teacher expertise.
