Ronald A. Beghetto is an associate professor of educational psychology at the University of Connecticut. Prior to joining the faculty at UConn, he served as the College of Education’s associate dean for academic affairs and associate professor of education studies at the University of Oregon. Dr. Beghetto earned his PhD in educational psychology from Indiana University. His research focuses on creativity in educational settings, and he has extensive experience providing professional development to educators with the goal of supporting creative teaching, learning, and assessment in K–12 and higher-education settings. Dr. Beghetto has published numerous books, scholarly articles, and book chapters on classroom creativity. He is the editor-in-chief for the Journal of Creative Behavior and serves as an associate editor for the International Journal of Creativity and Problem Solving. Dr. Beghetto is a fellow of the American Psychological Association and the Society for the Psychology of Aesthetics, Creativity and the Arts (Div. 10, APA). He has received numerous awards for his research and teaching.
