Renate N. Caine, PhD, is an education consultant, researcher, and writer. She is a codirector of the Caine Learning Center, the Director of Research and Professional Development of the Natural Learning Research Institute, and Professor Emerita of Education at California State University in San Bernardino (CSUSB). She has taught or worked with teachers at every level from kindergarten to university, and her work with schools has been featured on Teacher TV and on the Discovery Channel, Wizards of Wisdom shown on PBS. She teaches workshops and courses on the Brain/Mind Learning Principles and on natural learning at the Caine Learning Center in Idyllwild, California. She consults throughout the world on the implementation of natural learning, and works with schools and districts interested in long-term restructuring. She has been an international colleague of one of the world’s leading-edge educational reform projects, Learning to Learn in South Australia.
