Rebecca S. Donaldson

Rebecca S. Donaldson completed her master’s and Ph.D. at Utah State University. She currently serves as Title I Instructional Improvement Specialist for the Utah State Office of Education. She has been an enthusiastic educator for over 30 years. Literacy instruction has been her professional passion throughout her career. In addition to spending 17 years as a classroom teacher in grades 1–5, she has also enjoyed working as a reading specialist, literacy coach, professional developer, and adjunct professor at local universities. Becky served as the Utah Reading First Director from 2002–2010 and was the 2011–2012 President of the Utah Council of the International Reading Association. In 2013, she was a Distinguished Finalist for the International Reading Association Outstanding Dissertation of the Year Award.
