Phyllis Tashlik

Phyllis Tashlik is currently director of the Center for Inquiry, the professional development center of the New York Performance Standards Consortium. A teacher for several decades in the New York City public schools, Tashlik has taught English and writing classes, helped begin small schools, developed literacy curricula, and published student writing. She is editor of Active Voices II; Hispanic, Female and Young; and a writer/director for Teacher to Teacher Publications.
