Mary Greska

Mary Greska is a school library media specialist at Edison Elementary School in Elmhurst, Illinois. At Edison School, she supports teachers and learners with learning in several disciplines, including social studies and language arts, especially writing. Mary’s professional passions include incorporating new ways to help students learn through engaging activities and then, with her colleagues, spreading that word at conferences; igniting and nurturing a love of reading in elementary students; and, oddly, geography. In her former life, she was an attorney for a trust company in Chicago but saw the light and made her career change to education.
