Maria A. Pacino

Interim head of university libraries, Azusa Pacific University

Maria A. Pacino, EdD, taught in K–12 urban schools in Indiana. Her doctoral degree is from Ball State University, and her dissertation focused on multicultural/intercultural education. She has been teaching and leading at the university level since 1990. Pacino is currently the interim head of the University Libraries at Azusa Pacific University; prior to that she was in the School of Education. Pacino has presented at numerous conferences at the national and international level and has approximately 50 publications that address issues of diversity, equity, and social justice in schools, including a book, Reflections on Equity, Diversity and Schooling.
