Marc Lamont Hill

Marc Lamont Hill is an associate professor of English education at Teachers College, Columbia University. He is the author of the award-winning Beats, Rhymes, and Classroom Life: Hip-Hop Pedagogy and the Politics of Identity (Teachers College Press). He is also the co-author of The Classroom and the Cell: Conversations on Black Life in America (Third World Press).
