Leah Zuidema

Dr. Leah Zuidema serves as associate provost and dean for curriculum and instruction at Dordt College. As an English teacher educator, her pedagogy, service, and scholarship centered on support for early–career teachers. Her interest in teachers as writers stems from her experiences as a high school English teacher who grew as a writer and writing instructor through numerous opportunities provided by the Red Cedar Writing Project. In her current role, she seeks to help teacher-writers by providing resources and education to faculty and administrators, while also researching and advocating best practices for administrators who wish to support teacher–writers.
