Katie Sciurba is an assistant professor of literacies and children’s literature at the University of Georgia. Her scholarly work has appeared in venues such as Teachers College Record, Journal of Literacy Research, Research in the Teaching of English, The Lion and the Unicorn, and Science Fiction Studies.
