Kathleen A. Paciga is an Associate Professor of Education in the department of Humanities, History, and Social Sciences at Columbia College Chicago. Katie’s work examines early literacy development, early childhood literacy instruction and assessment, and the integration of children's literature and media into children's literate lives. She is an active member of the Association for Library Services for Children, the Literacy Research Association, and the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
