Katherine M. Douglas has a B.S. in Education from the University of Maryland and a M.A. in Integrated Studies from Cambridge College. A co-founder of Teaching for Artistic Behavior, Inc., which supports teachers practicing choice-based art education, Douglas has collaborated in international online educational mentoring projects using technology to connect teachers and students. She is a co-author, with Diane Jaquith, of Engaging Learners through Artmaking: Choice-Based Art Education in the Classroom. She was named Massachusetts Distinguished Art Teacher in 2005.
