Julia Marshall

Professor, Art Education, San Francisco State University

Julia Marshall is professor emeritus of Art Education at San Francisco State University in San Francisco, California, where she taught graduate and undergraduate courses. Before her tenure there, Julia was a teaching artist in Bay Area elementary and middle schools. Her publications include numerous chapters in art education anthologies and a variety of articles in Studies in Art Education and the Art Education Journal. She is coauthor with David M. Donahue of Art-Centered Learning Across the Curriculum: Integrating Contemporary Art in the Secondary School Classroom published by Teachers College Press.
