Judah L. Schwartz is a theoretical physicist who has studied people’s understanding of mathematics and science for more than 35 years. Until recently he was senior lecturer in the Department of Education and research professor in the Department of Physics at Tufts University. Before that he was professor of Engineering Science and Education at MIT and professor of Education at Harvard University. His research focuses on the design of interactive computer software to augment intuition about abstract constructs in science and mathematics.
