Gilberto Q. Conchas

Professor, University of California, Irvine

Gilberto Q. Conchas is professor of educational policy and social context at the University of California, Irvine. He is author of The Color of Success (2006), coauthor of Small Schools and Urban Youth (2008), coauthor of Streetsmart Schoolsmart (2012), and coeditor of Inequality, Power, and School Success (2015). He has also been a visiting professor at the University of Southern California, San Francisco State University, University of Washington, the University of Barcelona, and the University of California, Berkeley.
