Frances Hensley is a founding member and director of the School Reform Initiative, a national organization that supports and promotes the learning of educators in transformational learning communities. She leads professional development in support of adult collaboration in schools and districts across the country and in international settings. For more than 20 years, she was a faculty member in the College of Education at the University of Georgia where she led K–12 school–university partnerships. She began her career as a special education teacher in rural north Georgia.
