Erminda H. Garcia

Erminda García is presently a 1st-grade teacher in the Higley Unified School District in Gilbert, Arizona. She has taught pre-K and K through 3rd grade for 27 years in primarily Hispanic serving schools and school districts. She is a contributing author to a curriculum series by Scholastic and National Geographic serving bilingual, Hispanic children. She continues to provide invited professional development nationally on early childhood instructional strategies and has been recognized for her professional contributions at local, state, and national levels.
