Django Paris is the James A. and Cherry A. Banks Professor of Multicultural Education; Director of the Banks Center for Educational Justice; and Professor of Teaching, Learning and Curriculum at the College of Education, University of Washington. His research and teaching focus on understanding and sustaining languages, literacies, and lifeways among youth of color in the context of demographic and social change.
