Diana Lawrence-Brown is associate professor of differentiated instruction at St. Bonaventure University and has more than 20 years of experience with a broad range of diverse learners in a wide variety of settings. Her work focuses on authentic and responsive pedagogy for the full range of diverse learners, specializing in assistive technologies, multilevel differentiated instruction, the history of inclusive education, understanding factors that facilitate educators’ comfort with inclusion, and the critical analysis of education policy and practice, including how power is exercised in schools and who benefits.
