Dawson R. Hancock currently serves as chair of the Department of Educational Leadership at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he teaches graduate courses in research, evaluation, and assessment. He has broad program-evaluation experience in local school districts and has conducted extensive research on teacher education and evaluation processes and on factors that influence student motivation to learn.
