Curtis L. Morris earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of North Alabama and an M.S. in Urban Affairs (with honors) from Alabama A & M University. Mr. Morris is Accountability Specialist for the Memphis City Schools System (MCS), the largest public school system in Tennessee and the nation’s 21st largest school district. His responsibilities include strategic planning facilitation and the coordination of school accreditation activities for the district’s 175 Schools. Prior to joining MCS in 1995, Mr. Morris held a variety of executive positions in Tennessee, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Alabama. Mr. Morris is the co-author of two books, one book chapter, and two journal articles on educating African American children.
