Cris Mayo

Cris Mayo is professor and associate head in the Department of Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership Studies and professor in the Department of Gender and Women’s Studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her publications in queer studies, gender and sexuality studies, and philosophy of education include Disputing the Subject of Sex: Sexuality and Public School Controversies (Rowman and Littlefield, 2004/2007) as well as articles in Educational Theory, Studies in Philosophy and Education, Policy Futures in Education, Review of Research in Education, and Sexuality Research and Social Policy.
