Permission Request Guidelines

Please use the following guidelines to create your permission request before emailing it to tcpressrights@tc.columbia.edu for review and processing. Please allow six to eight weeks for processing all permission requests.

Coursepack Permission Requests

Please provide:
  • Your contact information
    • Name
    • Company (if applicable)
    • Address (Street, Town, State, Zip, Country)
    • Email address
    • Phone number
  • Information about the TC Press product
    • Title of book
    • Edition of book
    • Author(s) of book
    • Page numbers/Excerpt requested
    • Publication year
    • ISBN (if you have it)
  • Information about the course in which the TC Press content will be used
    • University/College/Institution name
    • Course name
    • Course number
    • Course instructor name
    • Estimated student enrollment for course
    • Course semester (e.g., Fall 2021, January – June 2021, etc)
    • Print coursepack use
      • How many estimated copies will be made of the TC Press content?
    •  Digital coursepack use
      • Will the TC Press content be placed on a password-protected, course-specific, e-reserve system?

Please include any other information you think will help TC Press process your request.
