Catherine Kramarczuk Voulgarides is an assistant professor of special education at Touro College in New York City, New York. She also works as an educational consultant, having worked in the field of education in New York City for more than a decade in multiple capacities. She has been a teacher, researcher, equity associate, senior research associate, and is now a professor. Her professional and academic work is focused on not only identifying inequities in practice, but also finding ways to address them. Her work is dedicated to connecting the insights of social theory to the realities of schools and districts.
