Carlos Cabana

Carlos Cabana has taught middle and high school mathematics since 1990. He spent his first 20 years of teaching at Railside, where he also served as co-chair. He credits his Railside students and colleagues for his continued delight in working with students and his passion for helping them find their intellectual place in the world. After leaving Railside, he eventually found a new home at LIFE Academy, a small public high school in Oakland, California, where he is working to create a middle grades program building on his experience at Railside.
