C. Bobbi Hansen

C. Bobbi Hansen is an associate professor in the School of Leadership and Education Sciences at the University of San Diego, where she has twice been named University Professor, the highest academic honor bestowed university-wide at USD. With over 30 years of experience in the field of education as a teacher, a curriculum director, and a teacher educator, Dr. Hansen’s passion is focused on finding solutions to classroom teaching-learning challenges through the intersection of emerging research in the neurosciences, evidenced-based pedagogies, and socially and emotionally situated learning practices. Her expertise in this area has earned her numerous invitations to present at state, national, and international venues along with more than 30 publications and the coauthoring of two textbooks.
