Briana M. Hinga is an assistant professor of clinical education at the Rossier School of Education at the University of Southern California. She completed her PhD in education at the University of California, Irvine. Her research illuminates how history, social structure, schooling practices, policies, perceptions, and actions interact to shape educational opportunity. She focuses on partnerships with communities, students, and schools to design and evaluate learning environments that foster possibility and social justice.
