Brian E. Gravel is a lecturer and director of elementary education at Tufts University. Coming from engineering and engineering education, his current areas of interest are elementary science education, educational technologies, and urban teacher education. His research focuses on exploring how students produce and use representations as thinking tools, educational technologies and modeling the natural world, and elementary STEM education in urban schools. Brian leverages all his work in teacher education efforts, working to create rich and meaningful STEM experiences for K–12 students.
