Betsy J. Cahill is the J. Paul Taylor Endowed Professor of Early Childhood Education at New Mexico State University. She’s been a preschool and kindergarten teacher and a cofounder and codirector of an early childhood center (toddlers–3rd grade) in Ohio. She has written policy statements on statewide alignment, workforce needs, curriculum, and readiness. Betsy has also published works on the intersection of gender and sexuality. She received her doctorate from Kent State University and has been at NMSU for over 20 years.
