Alison Heron-Hruby

Alison Heron-Hruby teaches English methods courses at George Mason University, where she is an assistant professor of English education. She also taught middle school and high school English, first on Long Island and then in Atlanta, Georgia. She has two young daughters—Katie and Evelyn—and a cat named Max. Her favorite pop culture texts include People magazine, Avril Lavigne’s music, and the television show Mad Men.
