Adrián Zancajo is a graduate in economics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and a master on educational research from the same university. Currently, he is a PhD candadidate in Sociology at UAB with a thesis on the Chilean education market. In the context of the Globalisation, Education and Social Policies (GEPS) research center, Zancajo participates in the competitive research projects “The new quasi-market reforms in education in Latin America” (EDUMERCAL) and “Public-Private Partnerships in Educational Governance” (EDUPARTNER). He has also conducted research for Education International, the Open Society Foundations and UNESCO. His main areas of interest are education privatization policies, educational inequalities and the evaluation of educational policies.
