The Future of Early Childhood Series
Call for Proposals
Teachers College Press launched The Future of Early Childhood Series to solicit, publish, and promote the field’s most transformative ideas. Books in the Series will be competitively selected based on their promise to:
- Transform public opinion and policy
- Illuminate cutting-edge and/or cross-sector research
- Help readers to reevaluate outdated ideas and practices.
The Series will foreground books that dismantle outdated narratives in ECE research, practice, and policy, and that architect innovative solutions to the most pressing challenges facing children and families today. It seeks to champion voices that fundamentally challenge, enrich, and transform our understanding of child development, early learning, and the policies that best support them.
The Series will publish two titles annually, and submissions will be reviewed in either of two annual submission periods, ending February 1 and August 1. Submit your prospectus before the next deadline to have your book considered for the next publication cycle.
Please submit all material to Dan Wuori (dan@ecpolicysolutions.com) with the subject line “FEC SERIES PROSPECTUS.”
