Berger for a candid conversation about the possibilities—and challenges—of facilitating with protocols online.
They will be joined in conversation by panelists Thomas Van Soelen, Folami Prescott-Adams, Cynnamon Woodberry, and Nicodemus Ford. Drawing on their real-world experience, the panelists will share how they got started with protocols, how they use them with different audiences and for different purposes, and what they've learned along the way. About the Authors
Julie A. Moore is an associate professor in the School of Instructional Technology and Innovation at Kennesaw State University.
Natalie J. Berger is chief operating officer of New Hampshire’s Virtual Learning Academy Charter School.
About the Panelists
Thomas Van Soelen is an executive coach and professional developer, specializing in group effectiveness and facilitation, organizational health, observation and feedback, and coach education.
Folami Prescott-Adams is the CEO of HTI Catalysts, a network of consultants whose mission is to cultivate intentional environments and connections that foster community, evoke organizational transformation, and inspire groups to realize their shared visions. She is a community psychologist and the creator of Listening 4 Justice (L4J), a series of online multigenerational gatherings grounded in storytelling to help us face the world. Folami is currently writing a book about her journey to L4J.
Cynnamon Woodberry brings over a decade of experience working with early childhood educators and families across Arizona. In her role, she supports the creation of high-quality learning environments that foster young children's language and literacy development. With a background in Family and Child Studies and Human Services, Cynnamon has guided educators in implementing best practices in early childhood classrooms. She is currently obtaining her degree in Management.
Nicodemus Ford is founder and director of Design with Joy, a participatory design consultancy working across learning, organizational change, and stewardship. He is an educator, restorative justice practitioner, and emerging Black farmer with more than twenty years of experience in education and rural communities. His work focuses on building more equitable and restorative learning environments, supporting educators, and developing community-centered approaches to educational improvement.
